Larry brings more than thirty-five years of experience spanning municipal government and private sector land development, with a consistent focus on integrity, creative problem-solving, and outcomes communities can stand behind.

He has held senior leadership roles across both sectors, including Commissioner of Planning and Housing for Waterloo Region, Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Guelph and the Municipality of Clarington, Director of Strategic Planning in Durham Region, and Senior Executive Land Development at Fusion Homes.

Larry holds designations as an MCIP, RPP, and Professional Land Economist (PLE). He is currently a PhD Candidate in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo, researching creativity and innovation in planning practice, and has served on the Boards of St. Mary’s Hospital and Grand River Hospital in Kitchener.

Larry brings nearly four decades of experience in land use planning, development strategy, public policy, and stakeholder engagement. Throughout his career, he has advised on housing, government approvals, and community growth, helping navigate complex planning and development challenges across Ontario.

His experience includes many years working with local builder-developers, where he played a key role in advancing residential communities and guiding projects through the approvals process. Larry is also actively involved with the Waterloo Region Home Builders’ Association (WRHBA), contributing to industry discussions on housing supply, planning policy, and growth management.

Combining private-sector development experience with policy expertise and industry leadership, Larry provides strategic insight that helps clients navigate growth, approvals, and long-term development opportunities.

Gursimran is an Intermediate Planner with a diverse background in urban development planning.

She came to Canada in 2017, after successfully completing her Bachelor of Technology in Urban Planning from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, India. She furthered her education in Canada at the University of Waterloo, receiving her Masters of Arts in Urban Planning with a focus on developing a mode choice model to understand the potential impacts of the LRT ON Mode Shares in the Waterloo region.

Gursimran has demonstrated diverse experience working on a range of public and private sector planning projects, as well as the real estate industry.

Gursimran is also a candidate member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.

Grant joined the team in 2023 as a Planning Technician & Designer, bringing a strong foundation in land-use planning, GIS, and cartography. Passionate about public transportation and climate-resilient communities, he is eager to apply and refine his technical skills while contributing to impactful planning initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources Science and Physical Geography from Trent Universityand an Ontario College Diploma in GIS and Urban Planning from Fanshawe College. Throughout his academic journey, Grant demonstrated a strong aptitude for scholarship and research, and he aspires to become a fully accredited land-use planner.

An active community member, Grant is dedicated to building relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and diverse communities, ensuring that planning solutions are both effective and inclusive.

Nishant joined the team as a Planning Technician and Designer, bringing a background that bridges urban planning and architectural design. With hands-on experience in development review, site plan analysis, and technical drawing, he is well-positioned to support projects from early-stage concept through to approvals.

He holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies with Distinction from Carleton University. His work as a Planner I with the City of Ottawa deepened his expertise in zoning by-law amendments, site plan control, and multidisciplinary project coordination, while sharpening his ability to translate complex planning frameworks into clear, actionable visuals and documentation.
